My goal is to help you establish a relationship with your pet and turn him/her into a well-mannered member of society. I teach you how to effectively communicate with your dog, fostering a bond that is built on trust, compassion and acceptance of your dog's individuality. I want you to reach your goals and I make the training as easy as possible for you. Together, we'll replace those unwanted behaviors with alternate behaviors - bringing out your dogs best qualities. I incorporate humane training techniques that encourage appropriate behavior through such positive reinforcement as food, attention, play, or praise and I ignore undesirable responses or withhold rewards until the dog behaves appropriately. We'll start with the basics and once you've completed the training, the sky is the limit if you decide to compete in obedience or agility, become a certified therapy dog team or just enjoy your well-behaved companion for years to come!
